We sit high on a bushland ridge at Glen Huon, southwest of Hobart via the Huon Highway. The last stretch runs quietly through the valley, and full arrival directions come with your booking confirmation.

Access is the question guests ask most: the property sits along a council dirt road, and the entrance is a sealed driveway suitable for two wheel drives, four wheel drives and standard rental cars. Its gradient is steep, so access can be challenging for motorhomes and RVs. Take it slowly and watch for wildlife at dusk, and get in touch before your stay if you are travelling in a larger vehicle.

A few common questions
At Hunter Huon Valley, we encourage guests to switch off and disconnect during their stay. That's why you won't find televisions or Wi-Fi in our cabins, giving you the space to step away from screens, slow down and reconnect with your surroundings.
Mobile coverage may be available on the property, depending on your mobile provider and location within the property.
Check-in is from 2pm and entirely self-guided. We email full arrival directions and your door code with the booking confirmation, so you can let yourself in whenever you arrive. Checkout is 10am, or add a slower checkout when you book.
Yes. All three cabins are adults only, and each sleeps two, or one if you'd rather have the place to yourself.
